Apply by 9 July 2026 for Priority Assessment
The priority closing date for new applications is Thursday, 9 July 2026.
If you submit your application on or before this date, you will receive priority assessment.
SUSI will continue to accept applications for student funding after 9 July 2026, however these applications will not receive priority assessment.
Remember:
- You do not need to have your Leaving Cert results or to have accepted a course to apply. You can simply supply the details of the course you hope to study and update your course choice online later.
- A number of changes have been introduced for 2026/27 including an increase to the amount a student can earn outside term time and an increase to the income threshold for the €500 Student Contribution grant.
