Please ensure that you read these terms and conditions of use with care as they govern your use of and access to the SUSI website (the "Site"). These terms and conditions apply to use of and access to the SUSI websites and should be read together with all other SUSI policies.

By using the Site, you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions of use and our Privacy Policy.

Introduction

The City of Dublin Education and Training Board (City of Dublin ETB) is a statutory education authority with responsibility for education and training, youth work and a range of other statutory functions. SUSI (Student Universal Support Ireland), operating as a business unit of the City of Dublin ETB, is Ireland’s national awarding authority for higher and further education grants. SUSI administers funding in line with the Student Support Act 2011, the annual Student Grant Scheme, the Student Part-Time Fee Scheme for Specified courses 2024 and the Student Support Regulations.

The Site is owned by the SUSI having an address at P.O. Box 869, Little Island, Cork (referred to as "SUSI" "we", "us" or "our"), which expression also includes associated companies including, where the context requires, our third-party suppliers and any other person involved with the provision or maintenance of the Site.

You must use the Site and the facilities made available on it only for their intended purposes, and must at all times act in good faith when doing so.

By means of this website, SUSI intents to enhance public access to information about SUSI and to provide information for grant applicants and for other parties to their grant applications.

Copyright & Limited Licence

All content and materials published on the Site are presented solely for your private, personal and non-commercial use. The contents of the Site, including all text, images, brands and trademarks is, unless otherwise specified, protected by national and/or international intellectual property laws, and is owned by SUSI or its suppliers. Use of the Site does not give you any ownership in or to any of that content.

SUSI complies with the regulations on the Re-use of Public Sector Information. We encourage the re-use of the information that is published on this website, including information made available in our FOI Publication Scheme, which has been prepared in accordance with Section 8 of the Freedom of Information Act 2014. Information and documents obtained from this website may be reproduced and/or re-used subject to the latest PSI licence available at www.psi.gov.ie.

If you breach any of these terms and conditions of use, your authorisation to use this Site automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.

You also understand that SUSI cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that any material available for downloading from the Site will be free from infection, viruses and/or other code that has contaminating or destructive properties. SUSI will try to make the Site available but cannot guarantee that the Site will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free and can accept no liability for its unavailability. SUSI may alter these terms and conditions of use from time to time and post the new version on the Site, following which all use of the Site will be governed by that version. If the need arises, we may suspend access to the Site, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on the Site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material. You must check the terms and conditions of use on the Site regularly.

These terms and conditions of use and our privacy policy are governed by Irish law. The courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine all disputes, questions and differences arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions of use and our privacy policy, and the parties irrevocably submit to that jurisdiction for that purpose.

If any provision or term of these terms and conditions of use and our privacy policy shall become or be declared illegal, invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such term or provision shall be severable from the other terms and conditions and shall be deemed to be deleted from them.

These terms and conditions of use and our privacy policy and cookie policy constitute the entire agreement between you and SUSI regarding your use of the Site and supersedes all prior written and oral arrangements, understandings, representations, warranties and agreements between SUSI and you.
