To submit an application online you will need to go to www.susi.ie and click on 'Log In/ Apply' from the homepage.
You will first need to register by clicking "I don't have a SUSI account yet."
After you have successfully created an account, you will then receive an email confirming your username. Please keep your username, password, and PIN in a safe place.
Use your log in details to begin filling out the application form online. You may save your progress as you go with the 'Save' button located on the bottom left corner of the application page.
When application is 100% complete, submit the application form online.
If you are unable to login to your account due to a forgotten username, password or PIN code please follow the procedure outlined below:
If you cannot remember your username, follow the link below and click on the "If you have forgotten your username click here" button and it will ask you to confirm your PPS number, email address and date of birth. You will then receive an email containing your username.
If you cannot remember your password, once you have your username you can click on the "If you have forgotten your student password click here" button. You will be asked to confirm your username and PPS and you will be asked to answer a security question. An email will be sent to your registered email address with instructions on how to re-set your password.
If you cannot remember your PIN code, once you have your username you can click on the "If you have forgotten your PIN code click here" button. You will be asked to confirm your username and PPS and you will be asked to answer a security question. An email will be sent to your registered email address with instructions on how to re-set your PIN code.
Please ensure that you check your Spam/Junk mail. Sometimes emails enter these folders instead of your inbox.
If you no longer have access to your registered email address and therefore cannot complete the "reset password/ PIN code" procedure please contact the SUSI Support Desk.
Our website supports most web browsers, however if you are experiencing technical difficulties, please try using Google Chrome from a PC or Laptop.
All sections of the form must be completed fully for the system to accept your application so please check this carefully.

Session Timeout issues can usually be resolved in one of the following ways:
- Clearing your cache and deleting your browser history - this is a vital step
- Login on an alternative device (PC/ Laptop/ mobile device)
- Use an alternative internet access point (for example try connecting to the internet using home wifi and then try connecting using a mobile data hotspot)
- Login on an alternative browser (such as Chrome/ Firefox)

- That you have attempted to connect using 2 separate internet access points, from different companies.
